Diaper Cake

Hey everyone!!! I'm here with my last project as Guest Designer at SVG Cutting Files.  I've had so much fun playing with Ann's wonderful files this month and so grateful she gave me this opportunity!!!!

I knew I wanted to do something with the Kawaii Baby files for a project...but I just didn't know what...nor do I really have any need to make anything baby related!!  I've seen these diaper cakes before and they are so adorable!!!  You can make them simple or decorate them up as much as you want.  For my project I kept it simple so I could showcase these super cute files!!!!!

The stork is actually a separate file but I thought he made the perfect addition.  It wasn't until after I hot glued him on that I decided he would have made a perfect topper!!  Will save that idea for another time!

Here are the 3 files I used

Thanks again to Ann for asking me to be a Guest Designer this month!!!

Hey Everyone! I'm back at SVG Cutting Files  for another Guest Designer project!  I can't thank Ann enough for giving me this opportunity and I'm excited that I still have another week to go!

Easter will be here soon so I thought I would whip up an Easter project for you today!

First of all I have to say I am in love with this Gusset Bag insert!!!!!! It makes filling up your bag with goodies a cinch!!!!!  I used the Sweet Baby Bunny file to top it off!  I enlarged his eyes and nose because I love to do eyelashes on my animals!!!

Baby Shower Umbrella

Hey everyone!  I'm back at SVG cutting Files for this weeks Guest Designer project!  I've been having so much fun this month and so happy there is an extra Sunday!!  As much as I want winter to be done, I don't want this month to end!!

When Ann released this umbrella I thought it would make an adorable baby shower favor!

Here is what I did!!

I had a bag of pastel sixlets and I prefer to put those in the candy tubes as opposed to the 1x8 bags.

I used the tube holder from the Witch's Shoe tube holder file because it's not quite as tall as the regular tube holder and I wanted more of the tube to actually show!  Also used some Love Bug Creations rumble ribbon!

I draped some pieces of Cotton Candy trendy twine over the umbrella to give it a little extra "something".

How’s that for blog candy??

Without further ado.. here’s my project:

This cute Shamrock card came from SVG Cutting Files.  Normally you need to resize these to 80% for them to cut at the appropriate size.  I forgot to do that this time around...but I used my precious and expensive Bo Bunny polka dot paper so I was not going to let this go to waste!!!  I made it work!

The nuggets didn't fit quite as snug as they should...but it was fine..and as a bonus it fit 6 nuggets instead of 5!!  That was really the only difference.  I also put a sheet of clear acetate in the opening so the nuggets wouldn't fall out.

The cute St. Patrick's Day sentiment came from Jaded Blossom...but it was special free set with a purchase of a release bundle!!!! Sorry to say you can't buy this separately!!!  They have freebies like this all the time...so go check them out!!

Carrot Patch!

Happy Sunday!

I'm back at SVG Cutting Files for my 2nd project as Guest Designer.
I am so excited about this weeks project!  The minute I saw these chocolate carrots I knew exactly what I wanted to do with them.  I had so much fun playing around with a couple of files to come up with this cute little creation!

I started with the Egg Holder Basket.  Now usually when you import these 3D files into your software you size them down to 80%.  Well...for my needs I actually enlarged the file just a bit.  I also took out the 2 larger hole cutouts for use with the eggs and put in 4 little holes to fit the tips of the carrots

I wanted the basket to look like a little garden so I used the Picket Fence Box file and I just cut away one section of fencing and sized it to fit the sides of the box.

The cute little bunny is the Single Bunny File.  I had to reduce him quite a bit to suit my needs....but then made is paws just a little bigger because I was afraid they would be too small.

Jaded Blossom March challenge!

Hey there crafty friends!
It's time again for another Jaded Blossom Challenge!  This month's theme is anything animal!
This is just perfect cuz I've been working on lots of Easter goodies to bring with me to a retreat in a couple of weeks!!!

Isn't this chickie so cute!!!!

Love Bug Creations.....Rumple Ribbon

On the Nugget Hugger SVG file...usually you are suppose to size it at 80%.  I left mine at 100% so that I could fit the treat size Reese's egg in there!

Pot of Gold!

Hey everyone!
I'm so very excited!!!  Today is my first post as the March Guest DT member at SVG Cutting Files!  I was so thrilled and honored when Annie asked me to do this spot.  Her files are just adorable and so easy to work with!  I hope I can do them justice!!!

For my project today I chose to use the Pot of Gold file.  This was one of the first 3D files I ever cut with my Cameo.  Hard to believe that was just under a year ago.  I've had so much fun in the past 12 months since I've discovered this amazing store!!!

I cut an extra pot and put it on the backside so that I could make it appear as the cute little leprachan was peaking over!

I used a face stamp and popped up his eyebrows and mustache for some added dimension.  To make his hands I just created an oval shape.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my project!  Hope to see you all again next Sunday!
